Our mission at Pets for Patriots involves education and outreach about the benefits of adult pet adoption. Overlooked in favor of puppies and kittens, these more mature animals make wonderful pets and deserve a second chance at life.

Companion animals are increasingly accepted as an integral part of family life, and most pet owners consider their dog or cat a vital member of the family. As a result, several important trends are taking shape in response to the ever-growing value Americans place on their four-legged best friends, including the rise of pet fostering for military families, interest in hybrids and a growing pet industry.
