About Adams County Humane Society

Adams County Humane Society offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends. The organization does not euthanize for space, and collaborates with rescues across the state of Wisconsin to save animals who may need more care than the small shelter and staff can provide.

In operation since the early 1970’s, Adams County Humane Society now maintains intake, surgical and isolation rooms, as well as a larger cat room for feline residents.

Adams County Humane Society welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind contributions of dog and cat food, cat beds, bath mats, dog harnesses and other items. See their wish list for details and their homepage for most needed items. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.

Adoption Fees Include:

Rabies ( if age appropriate)
Distemper vaccination
De-wormed (if needed)
Flea/tick preventative
Microchip for permanent identification
Kennel cough vaccination (dogs)
FIV/FeLV tested (cats)
