Cats Cradle Shelter

About Cats Cradle Shelter

Cats Cradle Shelter offers cat adoptions to veterans in the greater Fargo area through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends. The last-chance, “no kill,” colony-based shelter rescues, shelters and rehouse abandoned cats and kittens, and educates the public on the humane treatment of all animals.

The majority of animals Cats Cradle Shelter saves are rescued from city pounds in two states, and are given routine medical care and, as needed, dental and surgical services.

As part of its commitment to the animals in their charge, Cats Cradle Shelter maintains a collaborative relationship with the North Dakota State University Veterinary Technology department through which some cats go through a 28-day “health curriculum” at the university.

Cats Cradle Shelter welcomes monetary donations as well as in-kind contributions of Kuranda beds; see their website for details. For a more hands on experience, become one of their volunteers or cat fosters.

Adoption Fees Include:

FELV/FIV testing
Microchip for permanent identification
Medication (if cat is medicated at time of adoption)
