About Central Vermont Humane Society

Central Vermont Humane Society offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots and will help them find their new best friends.

The organization offers dog training classes, low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics, and education to animal guardians. Central Vermont Humane Society works to prevent animal cruelty and neglect, and supports legislative efforts to protect animals in Vermont. The shelter provides humane education programs for children as well, including its popular summer camp and Humane Heroes kids club.

Central Vermont Humane Society accepts monetary donations, as well as contributions of various pet food, kennel and office supplies. See their wish list for details. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
