About Flagler Humane Society

Flagler Humane Society offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans in the Palm Coast community through its partnership with Pets for Patriots. The shelter has been in operation since 1980, and provides a safe and caring environment for homeless animals until they can find a forever home where they can live out their lives as part of a family.

Flagler Humane Society offers an Ambassador Dog Program where volunteers visit participating senior centers and the local library with shelter dogs as part of its commitment to humane education and responsible pet ownership. In addition, it holds education programs for children so they can learn how to be safe around animals and care properly for their pets. The organization offers subsidized spay/neuter surgeries, as well as a monthly, low-cost vaccine and microchipping clinic.

Flagler Humane Society welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind donations of various medical and office supplies, pet food and other items; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
