Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Ctr

About Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Ctr

Franklin County Dog Shelter offers dog adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends.

The shelter promotes responsible dog ownership and provides compassionate care to vulnerable dogs in Columbus.

In addition to pet adoption, Franklin County Dog Shelter works with other community groups to promote adoption, spay/neuter, pet health care, and training. The organization offers a free behavior help line and resource library to help guardians solve common issues and prevent dog surrender.

Franklin County Dog Shelter welcomes monetary donations as well as in-kind contributions from its wish list. Toys and Kongs are always appreciated for in-kennel playtime. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers.
