Hinsdale Humane Society offers dog and cat adoptions to Hinsdale area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.

The organization provides a wide range of programs to benefit people and pets in their community. Hinsdale Humane Society operates a low-cost vaccine clinic, a free pet behavior help line, and various pet therapy programs. Humane education initiatives are available for children and adults as well.

Adoption Fees Include:

Age-appropriate vaccinations
Basic veterinary exam
Carrier (cats)
Collar (both cats and dogs)
Fecal test
FeLV/FIV test (cats)
Flea/tick preventative while at shelter
Free medical exam at participating veterinary clinic
Heartworm preventative while at shelter
Heartworm test
Microchip for permanent identification
Pet ID tag and registration (on HHS registry)
