Lily’s Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary

Lily’s Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary offers dog adoptions to veterans in in Petaluma and the San Francisco Bay Area through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends.

The sanctuary provides a safe and loving home for senior, large breed dogs who have been displaced from their homes or who have been abandoned for any reason. The dogs entering Lily’s Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary receive thorough medical evaluations and any needed treatment. Following a temperament assessment, good homes are found for adoptable dogs. Those who are determined not suitable for adoption remain at the sanctuary where they have a comfortable home and plenty of love for the rest of their lives.

Lily’s Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary welcomes monetary and in-kind donations, as well as opportunities to sponsor a specific dog in need. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
