Peninsula SPCA

About Peninsula SPCA

Peninsula SPCA partners with Pets for Patriots to help Newport News area veterans adopt dogs and cats in need.

The shelter maintains several innovative humane education programs, including many for children as young as five. Peninsula SPCA offers adoption and birthday parties, summer camps, and homeschool enrichment programs. A Safekeepers program cares for pets whose guardians experience a temporary crisis such as a job loss, housing issue, or illness.

Peninsula SPCA welcomes monetary and in-kind donations; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience become one of their valued volunteers or fosters.
