Riverdale Animal Shelter offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.

The organization serves Adams County, Thornton, and Northglenn, and is formerly known as Adams County Animal Shelter. In addition to pet adoption, Riverdale Animal Shelter runs publicly available low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics, dog licensing, and a pet lost and found.
