South Side Street Dogs

About South Side Street Dogs

South Side Street Dogs offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends. The organization serves Houston’s Sunnyside community.

South Side Street Dogs saves abandoned, injured stray animals, and helps them build confidence, social skills, and good health in preparation for adoption. The rescue’s street dogs and cats are rehabilitated, fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped before being placed for adoption.

To keep people and pets together, the organization provides pet food, vetting, and pet supplies to Sunnyside residents in need.

South Side Street Dogs welcomes monetary donations as well as in-kind contributions from its wish list. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
