About St. Joseph Bay Humane Society

St. Joseph Bay Humane Society offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help each adopter find their ideal match. The organization was formed in response to the plight of homeless animals in the community, relieve animal suffering, prevent animal cruelty, promote humane education, and enhance the human-animal bond.

SJBHS offers low cost programs for spay/neuter, a community pet food bank, and partners with shelters nationwide to ensure every animal finds a home.  SJBHS is a no-kill shelter specializing in rehabilitation of treatable medical issues and behavioral issues.

St. Joseph Bay Humane Society welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind contributions of pet treats and toys, cleaning supplies and other necessities; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands-on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
