Veterinary Neurology of the Chesapeake

About Veterinary Neurology of the Chesapeake

Veterinary Neurology of the Chesapeake is a specialty veterinary hospital helping Pets for Patriots veterans whose pets need neurological care. The practice, which treats diseases of the nervous system, brain, spinal cord and muscles, serves clients in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania and the Eastern Shore.

In addition to neurology and neurosurgery, the practice offers the most advanced diagnostic technologies available, and was the first veterinary practice in North America to use SonoCure, an advanced surgical technology previously restricted to human medicine.

As part of its commitment to animals in need, the veterinarians at Veterinary Neurology of the Chesapeake donate their time to various local animal welfare organizations, and its founder, Dr. Jay McDonnell, has worked with the state police K9 units as well as dogs in service to the University of Maryland Homeland Security. In addition, the practice offers discounted care to both rescue organizations and military family pets.

The practice is licensed and experienced in all aspects of neurological veterinary medical care. Patients can be seen at Veterinary Neurology of the Chesapeake in their Annapolis or Towson locations.
