Associated Humane Societies offers cat and dog adoptions to local veterans. The shelter partners with Pets for Patriots as a benefit to veterans and to save more animals’ lives. Associated Humane Societies operates shelters in Newark and Tinton Falls.

The organization offers low-cost spay/neuter, vaccines, dental surgeries, and wellness exams. In addition, Associated Humane Societies provides humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship.
