Blaze ain’t nothin’ but a hound dog who loves adults and older kids!
The basics
- My name is Blaze
- On my last birthday, I was 8
- I am a boy
- I've been homeless since September 5, 2024
The good stuff
- My best trick is howlin' like a hound dog!
- Me in three words: big, goofy, loving
- How I feel about other critters: I've been totes cool with other dogs after slow introductions. But cats? I never met one, so let's call that a big 'maybe.'
- My absolute favorite thing to do in the world is to be in the great outdoors! Whether it's napping in the sun, playing fetch, or going for a walk—as long as I'm outside I'm a happy fella. Of course at night I just want to be inside with my family. Now I just need one!
- This is what I dream about when I dream about my perfect person or family: a household with a big yard for me to lounge during the day and a soft bed to lay my head at night. Although I'm a gentle giant—about 100 pounds!—I might be a tad too big for young kiddos. Mostly I'm looking for kind, loving grownups—with or without older kids—who will enjoy my goofy personality and my companionship. Fun fact: I've spent time in a foster home with other nice dogs and we all got along just dandy!
