Program expenses:
Over 80% of our total expenses in 2025 went towards lifesaving programs and services in support of our mission.
Administrative expenses:
Only 8.2% of total expenses go towards administrative costs.
Fundraising efficiency:
It costs us only 11 cents in fundraising expenses for each $1 raised.
Strategic investments:
Investing 9% of 2024 expenses in technology upgrades led to 558 adoptions in 2025, a one-year record.
Liabilities to assets:
Our liabilities represent just 6% of our total assets.
Funding our mission:
Due to strategic use of technology, in 2025 we achieved a 22.4% increase in adoptions from 2024 despite an 8.53% decrease in program expenses.

What is the difference between Form 990 EZ and Form 990?
The Internal Revenue Service determines which form an exempt organization must file based upon financial activity (gross receipts and total assets). Pets for Patriots files the appropriate and required document based upon these IRS criteria.
