Mohawk Hudson Humane Society helps veterans adopt companion dogs and cats through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.

Founded in 1887, Mohawk Hudson Humane Society is the oldest and largest animal welfare organization in New York’s Capital region. The shelter maintains a low-cost veterinary clinic for spay/neuter, vaccinations, and routine testing. A behavior helpline and dog training classes help pet guardians address common issues with adopted dogs and cats.
