Donor Advised Funds
A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that provides an immediate tax benefit to you and allows you to grant funds to charities of your choice. It is a wonderful, simple, and effective way to manage your giving to Pets for Patriots and other nonprofit organizations.
DAFs can be set up through various community foundations and financial institutions. Benefits typically include a tax deduction in the year in which a DAF contribution is made and the simplicity of a single financial entity to direct charitable donations.
