Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA) offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.

As part of its commitment to humane animal education and community involvement, Animal Welfare League of Arlington offers a range of programs, including low-cost spay/neuter, a veterinary assistance fund and rabies clinics, as well as educational programs such as summer camps for children.

Adoption Fees Include:

Age-appropriate vaccinations
Basic veterinary exam
Carrier (cats)
Certificate for free exam with a participating veterinarian

Heartworm test
Microchip for permanent identification
