Berrien County Animal Control

About Berrien County Animal Control

Berrien County Animal  Control offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends. The municipal shelter does not turn away any animal, and helps to save and rehome companion pets, birds, horses, cows and reptiles.

In addition to pet adoption, Berrien County Animal  Control is committed to the responsible treatment of all animals in its community. The organization runs low-cost rabies clinics, issues dog licenses, enforces state animal laws, and maintains a pet lost/found to help reunite wayward animals with their families. Through information found both on its website and through its PAWS newsletter, the shelter works hard to promote humane education and respect for all animal life.

Berrien County Animal  Control welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind donations of kitten/puppy chow, dog food, cleaning supplies and other items. See their homepage for details. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers.
