About Blue Mountain Humane Society

Blue Mountain Humane Society partners with Pets for Patriots to help Walla Walla Valley veterans adopt their new best friends.

Founded in 1967, Blue Mountain Humane Society is committed to preventing cruelty and promoting kindness to animals in their community, and does not euthanize healthy, adoptable pets. In addition to the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of sheltered animals, Blue Mountain Humane Society provides animal control services in the county, cruelty and neglect investigations, and humane education programs for the public. In addition, the shelter offers pet food and spay/neuter assistance to income-qualified individuals.

Blue Mountain Humane Society welcomes monetary and in-kind donations; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience become one of their valued volunteers or fosters.
