Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control offers cat and dog adoptions to area veterans. The shelter partners with Pets for Patriots as a benefit to veterans and to save more animals’ lives.

In addition to pet adoption, Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control investigates animal cruelty and neglect complaints. It enforces state and local animal-related laws. The shelter provides pet microchip services as well.
