DFW Humane Society of Irving partners with Pets for Patriots to help Irving area veterans adopt their new best friends. Established in 1967, the shelter works cooperatively with the City of Irving Animal Services and other area animal welfare organizations to rescue and re-home animals in need.
In addition to companion pet adoption DFW Humane Society of Irving offers a spay/neuter voucher program to help reduce pet overpopulation. The shelter’s Angel for Keeps Pet Retention Program offers a range of support to pet guardians experiencing temporary hardship in order for them to keep their pets.
DFW Humane Society of Irving welcomes monetary and in-kind donations; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience become one of their valued volunteers or fosters.
