Greater Huntsville Humane Society works with Pets for Patriots to help veterans adopt companion dogs and cats.
In addition to pet adoption, the shelter’s King’s Community Kitchen provides pet food for low-income individuals during times of financial difficulty. A Pitch In pets program funds medical care for shelter animals with serious illness or injury, increasing their adoption potential.
