About Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center
Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center offers dog and cat adoptions to Tampa area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.
In addition to adoption, Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center investigates cruelty and neglect complaints, enforces animal-related laws, and provides dog licensing and pet microchip services. Among the organization’s innovative programs are ‘Wait until 8’ for kitten fostering and ‘Foster Express’ opportunities for short-term fostering of adoptable pets.
Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center has is an open-admission shelter, and accepts a range of toys, food, blankets, and other supplies for the animals in their care. For a rewarding experience consider becoming one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
