Humane Society of Greenwood (HSOG) offers dog and cat adoptions to greater Greenwood, SC area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.

In addition to pet adoption, Humane Society of Greenwood offers a free online pet lost-and-found. The organization’s Furry Tales Story Time program lets children read to a shelter dog at the Greenwood County Library, one of many humane outreach efforts in the community.

Humane Society of Greenwood welcomes monetary donations as well as contributions of various pet food, toys and enrichment items, cleaning and other supplies. See their complete wish list for details. For a more hands-on experience, become a valued volunteer or pet foster.
