Humane Society of Putnam County

Humane Society of Putnam County partners with Pets for Patriots to help veterans and families of fallen service members adopt companion dogs and cats.

The shelter works in partnership with Putnam County Animal Care and Control. In addition to adoption services, Humane Society of Putnam County provides low-cost microchipping and spay/neuter discount vouchers. To keep people and their pets together the shelter maintains a pet food pantry.

Humane Society of Putnam County accepts both in-kind and financial donations. A full wish list is available for those who want to give. For a more hands-on experience become one of their valued volunteers or fosters.
