About Licking County Animal Shelter
Licking County Animal Shelter works with Pets for Patriots to help area veterans adopt companion dogs. The shelter is a stray-intake only facility and does not accept owner surrenders.
In addition to dog adoptions the shelter investigates animal cruelty and neglect complaints while enforcing animal-related laws. Licking County Animal Shelter offers dog licensing and microchipping as well as part of its commitment to responsible pet guardianship.
Individuals who want to support the shelter can make monetary contributions or donate wish list items. Volunteer and foster opportunities are available for those seeking a more hands-on role in helping the animals.
