Macomb County Animal Control helps veterans adopt companion dogs and cats through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.
The municipal shelter offers a range of pet-related community services. It investigates animal cruelty and neglect complaints, maintains a pet food pantry, lists lost pets in its care, and fixes stray cats to reduce their populations humanely. Twice yearly Macomb County Animal Control runs a free vaccine clinic to help make essential pet healthcare accessible to as many animals as possible.
