Macomb County Animal Control

About Macomb County Animal Control

Macomb County Animal Control offers pet adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends.

The organization is responsible for many functions beyond pet adoption. Macomb County Animal Control also performs cruelty and neglect investigations, pet licensing, animal bite reports, and stray holds for displaced pets.

The Macomb County Animal Control team consists of a caring and compassionate staff with years of animal handling experience within a clean and professionally-managed facility. The combined knowledge, experience and training is applied to helping improve the adoption potential of the animals in their care.  Every shelter animal undergoes a complete medical workup as well as a behavioral assessment prior to adoption.

Macomb County Animal Control welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind contributions of treats, dog and cat food, and other essentials; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or pet foster families.
