About Manatee County Animal Welfare

Manatee County Animal Welfare offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.

In addition to pet adoption, Manatee County Animal Welfare maintains public safety by enforcing animal-related laws and ordinances. The shelter strives to eliminate pet overpopulation with a free spay/neuter program for low income families, and hosts free pet vaccination, microchip, and licensing clinics throughout the county.

Manatee County Animal Welfare welcomes monetary and in-kind donations; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience become one of their valued volunteers or fosters.
