About Michigan Humane Society – Howell
Michigan Humane Society offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots and will help them find their new best friends. Founded in 1877, Michigan Humane Society is the state’s oldest and largest animal welfare organization.
The organization operates a range of community and animal welfare programs in addition to pet adoption. Michigan Humane Society operates adoption and veterinary centers in Detroit, Rochester Hills, Westland and Howell. In addition to its own shelters the organization operates satellite adoption centers at area Petsmart and PETCO stores, all of which partner with Pets for Patriots.
