About Monroe County Friends of Animals

Monroe County Friends of Animals offers dog and cat adoptions to Eastern Tennessee veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends.

Monroe County Friends of Animals maintains a Second Chance Pals Program, through which older pets are fostered to give them more time to find a loving home. In addition, the organization operates a pet food bank to help residents experiencing short-term financial hardship.

Monroe County Friends of Animals accepts monetary donations, and purchases at its thrift store help fund shelter operations. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
