About Nashville Humane Association

In recognition of the strong bond between veterans and their animal companions, the Nashville Humane Association has teamed up with Pets for Patriots to facilitate the adoption of dogs and cats by veterans in the area.

Established in 1946, the Nashville Humane Association has long been dedicated to promoting the welfare of animals in Davidson County. This includes finding responsible homes for pets, reducing pet overpopulation, and advocating for the humane treatment of animals. In addition to these efforts, the shelter provides support to people and their pets through crisis foster programs and a pet food bank.

Nashville Humane Association welcomes both monetary and in-kind donations. For a more hands-on experience, become a valued volunteer or foster parent. Be sure to check out their complete wish list for more information on how to help.
