Norfolk SPCA

About Norfolk SPCA

The Norfolk SPCA offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends. The organization has been serving the Hampton Roads community since 1892, and has guaranteed adoptions as a “no-kill” shelter for healthy, treatable pets for more than 10 years.

In addition to providing companion pet adoption, The Norfolk SPCA offers a publicly available walk-in veterinary clinic where pets can receive vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip for permanent identification and other essential services at low cost. As part of its history of care for animals in need, the shelter often saves animals at risk and provides these special needs cases with extensive medical and behavioral care to help them get adopted.

The Norfolk SPCA welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind donations of pet bedding, dog and cat food, and various office supplies; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.

Adoption Fees Include:

Age-appropriate vaccinations appropriate to age
Feline AIDS/leukemia test
Microchip and registration
