Operation Pets Alive! The Woodlands

Operation Pets Alive! offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans and Gold Star families in the greater Houston metro area through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.

The foster-based organization keeps animals in foster care for a minimum of two weeks before becoming eligible for adoption. This allows fosters to assess their behavior and increase the chances of successful placement. The rescue holds off-site adoption events. Adoption dates and times are listed on their website. In addition, Operation Pets Alive! maintains a low-cost spay/neuter program.
