Park County Animal Shelter offers dog and cat adoptions to area veterans. The shelter partners with Pets for Patriots as a benefit to veterans and to save more animals’ lives.

The organization maintains a low-cost spay/neuter clinic to reduce pet overpopulation. Park County Animal Shelter offers innovative programs to increase pets’ adoption potential. This includes Dog’s Day Out, where people can take hard-to-place dogs into the community for the day.
