Prince George’s County Animal Services Division partners with Pets for Patriots to place dogs and cats in its care with local veterans.
The municipal shelter offers many services in addition to pet adoption. It responds to animal cruelty complaints, reports of sick, injured, or at-large animals, and other animal control duties. Prince George’s County Animal Services Division maintains a lost-pet listing, and offers pet care tips and information on its website.
