About Rochester Animal Services

Rochester Animal Services partners with Pets for Patriots to help Rochester area veterans adopt companion dogs and cats.

In addition to operating an animal shelter for the rehabilitation and adoption of stray, injured and disowned animals, Rochester Animal Services functions as a site for locating lost pets, maintains a low-income spay/neuter clinic and enforces all New York State laws and City of Rochester ordinances pertaining to animal control.

Rochester Animal Services welcomes monetary donations through the Verona Street Animal Society, a 501(c)(3) established to support the mission and programs of the shelter. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers.
