Seminole County Animal Services has joined forces with Pets for Patriots to help local veterans adopt their new best friends.
In addition to pet adoption, Seminole County Animal Services investigates animal cruelty and neglect complaints, and enforces state and local animal-related laws. The shelter offers rabies vaccinations and microchipping, as well a variety of educational programs available for every age group. A Hound Around Town initiative allows trained volunteers to take vetted dogs out into the community to increase their visibility and adoption prospects.
Seminole County Animal Services welcomes monetary and in-kind donations; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience become one of their valued volunteers or fosters.
