About SPCA of Westchester
SPCA of Westchester offers companion pet adoptions to Briarcliff Manor area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.
The organization has been serving its community since 1883. In addition to pet adoption, SPCA of Westchester investigates animal cruelty and neglect complaints, enforces state and local animal-related laws, and maintains a low-cost publicly available pet clinic.
SPCA of Westchester welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind contributions of various pet-related and office supplies. See their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
Adoption Fees Include:
- Age-appropriate vaccinations
- Basic veterinary exam
- Behavior assessment
- Carrier (cats)
- Collar
- FeLV/FIV test (cats)
- Fecal test
- Heartworm test
- Leash
- Microchip for permanent identification
- Spay/neuter
