About Ventura County Animal Services – Simi Valley

Ventura County Animal Services offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots. Through shelter locations in Simi Valley and Camarillo, the organization will help veterans find their new best friends.

Ventura County Animal Services practices socially conscious sheltering, which encourages collaboration with local officials, community members, veterinarians, transfer/rescue partners, and others to promote responsible pet care and adoption. In support of this approach, the organization provides a range of resources, including a pet lost/found, pet pantry, and a rabies clinic, among other services.

Ventura County Animal Services welcomes in-kind donations of gently used towels and other household items; see their Amazon Wish List for all needed items. For a more hands on experience, become one of their volunteers or pet fosters.
