| Pet's Name | |
| Mannie | |
| A little about me | |
| I found Mannie at a shelter after a breakup. Unbeknownst to me Mannie was an abused dog that needed some major tender love and care. This was all new to me because I had never owned or been around dogs. Our journey has flourished so much. He is now a loving, happy, and still over protective of me but I wouldn't trade him for the world. | |
| My military experiences | |
| United States Army Veteran where I served five years. | |
| Why I chose to adopt through Pets for Patriots | |
| I found out about Pets for Patriots on my visit to the shelter and they were so nice and accommodating. I don't think I would go any other route. | |
| How my honorably adopted pet has changed my life | |
| Mannie has taught me patience where I never thought I had them. | |
| What I love most about my new pet friend | |
| His fiery attitude that resembles so much of me. | |
| What I would tell other veterans or service members who might be thinking about adopting through Pets for Patriots | |
| YES!!!! They are amazing people and they really care about the well being of the pets you adopt! | |
