Keith Weaver

KEITH WEAVER

BOARD CHAIR

Keith Weaver is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Leadership Department at the Citadel. Graduating from the United States Naval Academy, Keith served in the Naval Aviation community, completing extended overseas deployments to the North Atlantic, Mediterranean, Middle East, and South American areas of operation. He commanded Patrol Squadron 23, Brunswick, Maine and Patrol Wing 11, Jacksonville, Florida.

Following his 26-year military career, Keith worked with the United Service Organizations (Chief Operating Officer & SVP Global Operations); Enterra Solutions (Chief Operating Officer & SVP Government Relations); Force Protection Industries (SVP, Business Development, Marketing & Communications); Northrop Grumman Corporation (International Programs-Aerospace); and Bechtel (International Programs-Australia).

In addition to his work with Pets for Patriots, Keith served as a member of the National Board of Directors, Military Officer’s Association of America (2002-2008). He now serves as an Advisory Board member of the College of Charleston’s School of Languages, Cultures and World Affairs, as well as an Advisory Board member for the Barrier Island Free Medical Clinic, John’s Island, South Carolina.

Keith’s long-term association with Pets for Patriots has been driven by two passions: his desire to “give back” to our veterans, America’s true heroes; and ensuring shelter pets are provided a “second chance at life” in the home of a military veteran. Keith has served on the Pets for Patriots board since inception and elected Board Chairman 2016.
