Chucky is a big lap dog who loves long walks and other dogs, too!
The basics
- My name is Chucky
- On my last birthday, I was 1
- I am a boy
- I've been homeless since May 12, 2026
The good stuff
- My best trick is squirrel detection!
- Me in three words: affectionate, playful, shy
- How I feel about other critters: I'm totes cool with other dogs, though I've yet to meet a cat.
- My absolute favorite thing to do in the world is to spend time with my people and pretending I'm a lap dog even though I'm 78 pounds. I love going on walks and adventures with my favorite volunteers, too. I've got lots of favorite things, and they all include spending time with the humans!
- This is what I dream about when I dream about my perfect person or family: people who understand that I'm a sensitive boy who needs time to bond, get acquainted, and help me build confidence in my new surroundings. I'm very affectionate and love to be close to my people—now I need some people of my very own! I love long walks to the park and adventures, too, and I am a huge fan of snacks. And at 78 pounds, I can snack! I haven't lived with kids so would need to meet any that may be in the home, but probably will do best with older children who can respect when a fella needs a little space. I have so much love to give, and know that my people who want an oversized lap dog are out there looking for me, too.
