Adopted!
Mona dreams of her first real home and is totally cool with kids!
The basics
- My name is Mona
- On my last birthday, I was 6
- I am a girl
- I've been homeless since February 2, 2024
The good stuff
- My best trick is acting like Velcro and sticking right by your side!
- Me in three words: loyal, happy, loving
- How I feel about other critters: I'm cool with other dogs, but would prefer to be your one and only. And definitely no small animals! I was used for hunting so I'd rather chase little critters than befriend them. 🙂
- My absolute favorite thing to do in the world is to walk or cuddle with my favorite human. A girl shouldn't have to choose!
- This is what I dream about when I dream about my perfect person or family: a household where my family understands I'm a bit of an underdog. I'm a tad older, and was used for breeding and hunting wild animals in my previous life. After that I lived in a dirt pit behind someone's house with almost no human interaction. Now that I'm with my friends at the shelter, I'd LOVE a family of my own! I enjoy my dog bed, I'm great at keeping my kennel clean, and I'm friendly with all humans! I'm cool with most big, gentle dogs too, but would prefer to be your only princess! I'm great with kids and will be a total Velcro dog with my new people. My tail hasn't stopped wagging since I got here because I know that in spite of my *ruff* life I'm hopeful for a loving home!
