- This is what I dream about when I dream about my perfect person or family: a household with humans who appreciate me for the affectionate, playful, smart, and loyal fella that I am. I absolutely love people and toys—most of the time in that order!—and dig learning new things. I'm proof that you can teach an older dog new tricks! I already know 'sit,' 'touch,' 'gentle,' and 'leave it,' and am working really hard on 'down.' I do have a mind of my own, but a fella can have opinions, amirite? While I love to hike and explore, and chase a herding ball in the yard, my absolute favorite thing is to be my human's companion. Now I just need the human! Speaking of, I'm cool with kids and prefer the older ones who respect that my toys are my toys. And natch I'll be the only pet in our home together and trust me, I'm all you'll need!
