Animal Protective Foundation

About Animal Protective Foundation

The Animal Protective Foundation offers dog and cat adoptions to Schenectady County veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends. Founded in 1931, the organization offers a wide range of programs including companion pet adoption, dog training classes, and lost & found services.

As part of their commitment to animals in their community, Animal Protective Foundation provides low-cost spay/neuter for income-qualified individuals, and microchipping for permanent pet identification.

Animal Protective Foundation welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind contributions of Science Diet dry pet food, Kuranda beds, building supplies and various other items. See their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
