Big Lake Humane Society offers dog and cat adoptions to Muskegon area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.
In addition to pet adoption, Big Lake Humane Society works to reduce pet abandonment and overpopulation in its community. It operates a veterinary clinic for low-cost preventative care, spay/neuter, and medications. A food pantry is available for people who need help caring for their pets.
