City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots. The shelter is the primary provider of animal-related services for Bloomington and Monroe County.
In addition to adoption services, City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control reunites people with lost pets, enforces animal control ordinances, and educates the public about responsible animal care. Pet behavior consulting is available to Monroe County residents as well as those who have adopted from the shelter.
