Front Street Animal Shelter

Front Street Animal Shelter offers dog and cat adoptions to Sacramento area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots. The facility is a municipally-managed organization.

In addition to pet adoptions, Front Street Animal Shelter transports sick and injured stray animals to the emergency veterinarian, investigates cases of animal cruelty and neglect, and educates the public about the importance of spay/neuter, among other responsibilities.
